I come before You with a heart heavy from carrying what was never meant to be held forever. Therefore, I ask You to help me release what no longer serves my soul—the guilt that clings, the regret that echoes, and the silent shame that dims my light. As I lay these burdens at Your feet, I trust that Your compassion is vast enough to hold them and gentle enough to dissolve them.
Moreover, teach me to forgive—not only those who have wounded me, knowingly or unknowingly—but also myself. In doing so, help me let go of the harsh judgments I’ve placed upon my own spirit, the moments I’ve replayed, and the words I wish I could take back. Let Your grace flow through me like a cleansing river, washing away bitterness, fear, and the hardened places within my heart. As a result, may this grace soften me, renew me, and make space for healing to take root.
In place of resentment, I choose freedom. Instead of judgment, I choose compassion. Through Your love, which never falters and never condemns, help me see myself and others with clarity and kindness. Furthermore, open my heart to reconciliation—not only with others, but also with the parts of myself I’ve rejected. Let me embrace my humanity with tenderness, knowing that imperfection is a doorway to growth.
