Heavenly Father,
I come to You in need of peace.
My mind is restless,
my heart feels heavy,
and my soul longs for stillness.
There is so much noise around me…
expectations, worries, distractions…
and I need Your gentle voice to quiet it all.
You are the God of peace,
not confusion.
You calm the storm,
You still the waves,
and You speak serenity into chaos.
So I ask You now to speak peace into me.
Quiet the thoughts that spiral into fear.
Soothe the ache that I carry in my chest.
Slow the racing of my mind
and the tension in my body.
Let Your Spirit wash over me like a soft breeze,
bringing comfort, clarity, and calm.
Lord, I release the need to control everything.
I surrender the burdens I’ve been carrying…
the ones I speak aloud
and the ones I keep hidden.
I lay them at Your feet,
trusting that You are working in ways I cannot see.
Help me breathe deeply,
to inhale Your peace
and exhale my anxiety.
Let each breath be a reminder
that You are near,
that I am safe,
and that I am held in Your love.
Protect my mind from overwhelm,
my heart from despair,
and my spirit from weariness.
Renew me with Your strength,
restore me with Your grace,
and anchor me in Your presence.
God, I ask for peace that surpasses understanding…
the kind that doesn’t depend on circumstances,
but flows from Your heart to mine.
Let it settle in every corner of my being,
bringing rest where there was tension,
and hope where there was fear.
Thank You for being my refuge,
